Dear friends -

To prevent the further entrance of 4 wheel drive vehicles into Arlington's
Great Meadows, the chain across the gate behind the East Village nursing
home parking lot has been locked. It will have high-visibility orange and
red reflection on it so it should be very easy to see.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Everyone, including
skiers, strollers, and cyclists, should be able to pass safely underneath
the chain after stopping. Over the summer we'll investigate a better means
of preventing motor vehicle entry that won't inconvenience other visitors.
